Wind Dancer
Raised in a British-held frontier town during the American Revolution, Isabelle Renoir is not like other women around her. A free spirit, she dances in the moonlight as a praise offering to God and is more at home fearlessly taking her long rifle and knife into the woods for adventure and inspiration.
But Isabelle’s latest journey may be more than even her strength can handle when a huge storm throws the raven-haired beauty off course and into the path of rugged American spy Samuel Holt. After matching wits and denying their passion for each other, they are attacked by Indians, held prisoner, and forced to watch the horrific killing of Isabelle’s brother. Now together but in captivity, they must fight spiritual forces that no knife or rifle could ever conquer in order to be free.

Reviews:
Wind Dancer “an amazing story”
From Alison’s Attic blog:
“Wind Dancer is an amazing story of strong-willed Isabelle Renoir and her journey in finding her true meaning in life . . . This was the first book by Jamie Carie that I have read, but it won’t be the last. I was pulled in by the interesting time period of the [...]
Wind Dancer’s Isabelle “a wonderful heroine”
From ChristysBookBlog.com:
“(Wind Dancer by Jamie Carie) takes all of the standard ingredients in a historical romance: fiery heroine, mysterious hero, extreme circumstances and makes them stand above the rest of the genre. Isabelle has an amazing, wild kind of faith in God that makes even the Shawnee stand up and take notice. Isabelle is a [...]
Jamie Carie’s Wind Dancer “an electrifying romance”
TitleTrakk.com says Jamie Carie’s latest novel is “An electrifying romance . . . Wind Dancer is engaging and has a unique heroine that readers will enjoy.”

Wind Dancer reviewed at Faithful Reader
Jamie Carie has once again seamlessly woven her in-depth research into an exciting and passionate page-turner. Her heroine’s character reminds me of a wild mustang running full gallop across the mesa, incredibly beautiful and too magnificent to tame. If you like plenty of action and emotion packaged into a historical romance, then WIND DANCER fits [...]
